Tethered - 100×100cm oil on box canvas
Sometimes a short lived moment of calm is just that - a moment.
Two opposing agendas, one about to win over the other. A quiet study of proximity, and dependence - where presence becomes both anchor and constraint. The human figure stands composed, almost detached, while the dog leans in, embodying loyalty, vulnerability, and unspoken love.
This work explores the invisible lines that bind us - to each other, to roles, to expectations, and asks where connection ends and confinement begins.
